I been practicing trauma-informed yoga with many different teachers. Pursuing these studies enabled me to better face my own experiences with trauma and my recovery has inspired me to help others. My yoga classes will help you become more subtle, that involves concentration, deep listening and loving kindness to the self.? Work as hard or as soft as you like. I’ll show you how to modify the poses using props or learn variations. I teach some somatic movements in my classes and my practice and teachings are through studying with Tias Little, Prajna Yoga. I use his poetry along with a mix of Asanas & Vinyasa flow from other yoga teachings. This is a totally unique practice that opens your inner channels.
My most recent training is the MBSR (Mind Body Stress Reduction) course. This is an 8-week, evidence-based training, designed to provide ways of coping more effectively with the challenges and demands of daily living. Learning meditation tools along with subtle body. I would call my classes ‘Movement, Stillness, Breath and Calm.
I teach group classes, individual sessions in person and via Zoom.
